My current favourite makeup brand e.l.f. cosmetics

What I like about elf cosmetics is they have products that suit your budget from products as low as £3. They even have some skincare products now as well along with different types of makeup products. I haven't tested out their skincare products as of yet, just their makeup and brushs. Most of my favourite lipsticks are from elf I especially like the brown colour lipsticks but have other colours too their lipsticks are not overpowering in smell and last a good while.

Their bitesize eyeshadows were also a big hit for everyone, very affordable and pigmented. Some products which I wasn't so keen on was the concealers I have tried two out of three current concealers which are 16hr camo concealer and the flawless concealer but find them very runny and they give low coverage other than that I have enjoyed everything else about elf cosmetics and I hope they can work on their concealers.

They are able to keep their budget low as they concentrate on the product quality rather than too much on the product look that's why they keep their packaging simple for products that are affordable for example the elf eyeliner pen is £3 one of the cheapest eyeliners and I have used it, it does the job perfectly. Why pay more for just fancy packaging? 

I would definitely recommend elf as they have high quality and affordable makeup products. Elf is vegan and cruelty free as well which I love about it, it's nice to know we are using products like this that don't have any nasty stuff in them.

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Laquer Lipstick Review

Lip lacquers and matte liquid lipsticks are very popular nowadays. I have been trying lip lacquers from the brand MUA I bought three shades from Superdrug these retail for £3 each which I think is a very good and affordable price. I have seen online MUA have a lot of colours from nudes, reds, pinks, browns, and even black blue and purple they have some very unique colours but I stuck with getting everyday wear colours and dark ones.

They apply easily and once they are dry which is within a minutes they feel matte and velvety on the lips it feels as though I have got nothing on my lips and it is very lightweight. Also, they do not smudge at all.
I drank and ate and found that the lip colour did start to remove from the inner section of my lips making them look like they need a reapplication. When drinking tea it removes a lot because of the heat of the tea. Even when I did not eat and drink I did notice it would still remove from the inner section of my lips so it was not very long lasting.
They are easy to remove if you use micellar water, it will get all over your face with wipes (with me this happens). The product has a very sweet berry mixed with honey type of smell to it.

First shade Hustle
The colour is absolutely stunning a dark brown perfect for autumn but can be worn all throughout the year. This is a favourite colour of mine I love dark brown lipsticks, so I definitely loved this it was the first colour I had my eye one. It applies on really well by adding a lot of the product it will make it into a darker brown and by adding less with a lip brush it will give slightly less brown colour so the brown shade in it is controllable which is very useful and I love this colour, it will look good on everyone.

Second shade Elegance
This colour is a pink berry colour it's a pretty pink berry colour not bright at all. I thought the colour elegance would probably be a browner colour because from the packaging as it shows a brown tone and on the wand the colour is brown but when applied it was more like a pink berry but I really liked it, it was a colour I have never worn before and I think it looked great and I will keep on wearing it. I like pink colours that are not bright and sort of a berry colour but bright pinks I don't prefer I think they don't suit me because I tend to think they look better on ladies with pale skin colours rather than tanned, medium or dark. But, I was really impressed with this shade.

Third Shade Flair
For me, this shade is deep red colour which has a sort of a plum and brown hint to it. I wasn't sure how this colour would look on me but after trying it I loved it, it is a very dark colour so some areas can look patchy if the colour does not apply on properly all over the lips but that can be easily avoided. This is also a perfect colour for autumn if you are going for a dark shade. I would wear this with less makeup or no makeup at all because this colour just provides all the prettiness on the face.

Overall I really like these lip lacquers from MUA they are affordable really pigmented and velvety when applied on the lips perfect for special occasions, for everyday wear a reapplication is probably going to be needed once or twice. I will definitely purchase more colours in the future as well.

Asian Makeup & Beauty

I have been wanting to try some Asian beauty and makeup products lately for the first reason it is really affordable but also they do have some products which are really good. I have tried some from ebay and aliexpress and looking at the price the products have been great in every way. I wanted to share a new place to shop from which is Tosave.

These are some of the items I got from the online website. Some items I got were items I needed, like the accessory bag to put makeup items in, the brush cleaner to clean brushes with. The rest were something new for me and I wanted to try out.

The lip palette has a special ingredient in which helps your lips look fuller when you apply the lip colours on so for anyone wanting to achieve that look this will be something they can try, it was affordable and includes lip liner and lip brush, the lip brush which I really like it is perfect for precision and it is not too thin so a lot can apply on.
There were different designs for brush cleaners some are in an egg style, some as mats and some a heart shape in different colours these are really helpful to clean your brushes and only cost about £1.

The makeup and accessory bag is super handy when you are travelling you can put your makeup or toiletries in this bag and it also looks cute this item is only £2.99. They also have it available in different colours and designs.

The next item which caught my eye was this eyeshadow palette it looks beautiful the packaging and the eyeshadow colours, the eyeshadows are really pigmented they apply on so well with the eyeshadow brush and blend out nicely. This eyeshadow palette is from an asian beauty brand cocosh she it has good hard packaging with a mirror which is useful. The colours are nice for everyday looks with a mix of light, medium and dark shades which are good combinations it is my favourite palette because the colours are pigmented and apply well.
I also got another palette from cocosh she because I really liked the first one this has 9 colours in and the eyeshadows again are pigmented easy to work with, there are no shimmer shades in this palette they are all matte so perfect when only wanting to work with matte colours.

I also liked the double ended eyeshadow brush with a blending brush because instead of having to carry an eyeshadow brush and blending brush separately I can have it as one brush it saves space, and I have to say this is an excellent brush it is soft but also works really well, it is a copy of the naked eyeshadow brushes but it is a lot more cheaper, this costs only £0.81 on their website currently for the price it is well worth it. I was surprised to how well the blending brush worked and the eyeshadow brush works moderately too, I think this is a brush that is very useful considering the price too.

Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Kit Review

I have the lip kit in the colour Runway Berry and a single matte liquid lipstick in the colour paparazzi. I haven't tried a lot of Barry M lip products and as this was a new product I was definitely impressed with the outcome. Currently, they are selling 3 limited edition lip kits which include a lip liner and liquid lip paint and they have come out with 5 new single liquid lip paints that's without a lip liner. I purchased one lip kit and one single lip paint. The single liquid lipstick retails for £4.99 and the lip kit for £6.99 which I think is a pretty good price for the quality and the product.

With the lip kit I applied the lip liner first and it applied nicely it's pigmented and a nice light berry colour, then I applied the liquid lip paint on my lips and let it dry, it dries within 1 minute. I really liked the colour not too light and not too dark and the feel of it was soft on my lips.

It does not dry your lips at all it has a nice velvet feel to your lips and are not sticky feeling, it is long wearing it can last all day but if you eat and drink it will start to fade from the inner middle and in the outer corners of the lips. I drank tea and notice from the steam of the tea it faded more.

The packaging is also nice it is a tube and you can see the lip colour from the clear packaging and you can see the colour from the end of the lip liner as well. The consistency of the liquid lipstick is thin, but not too thin that it runs and neither is it thick, it is the perfect consistency. They have a sweet scent to it but isn't overpowering, it smells sweet as candy.

The red is a beautiful bold red matte colour definitely a red colour every girl needs, it makes your teeth look extra white, but your lips look fabulous.

If you rub whilst removing the liquid lipstick then it will smudge I had the red one especially all over my mouth while trying to take it off, so I would be careful whilst removing it, but normally now I just leave it to come off itself but if I need it off I will use a wipe making sure the colour doesn't go around my mouth. You can see the swatches here, this is the colour and liquid lipstick when they have dried and it is a matte finish.

Overall, I will keep on using the lip kit and the lip paint it would be something great if you want it to last all day because it really does. The red lip paint is the only red lipstick I apply when I want the bold and long lasting colour because it's the perfect colour. The runway kit I also love wearing and would definitely recommend to everyone because there are no cons with this product you will love it.

Affordable Eyeliner Pencil Avon Color Trend

These are my all time favourite pencil eyeliners from Color Trend a part of Avon Cosmetics, I have been using these pencil eyeliners for years now and I have not considered using any other brand unless I want a colour that Color Trend does not have, the main reason is because the brand is really affordable and they are very pigmented and soft which makes them apply on smoothly, on sale you can get these eyeliners 99p each otherwise prices can be £1.50 or £2 depending on the price, Avon changes the price for every brochure.

At the moment they only sell the colours black, blue, brown and turquoise and in the kajal stick they have purple, black, green and brown. There are some eyeliners which they don't sell anymore like the green and white eyeliner and double ended kajal sticks. The packaging of the eyeliners has also changed from black to the colours of the eyeliners now, which is actually better because you can tell now which eyeliner is what colour, before I had to check the colour because all of the eyeliners were the same colour. Whatever the occasion is I always have this eyeliner on.

Old Packaging of Color Trend Eyeliners

Most of the pencil eyeliners I have are pencil eyeliners from Color Trend and a few are kajal sticks compared to other affordable brands like Mua, Revolution and Elf these eyeliners are a lot more better in quality, others I have found that they are too soft so when I apply they smudge easily and the colour is hard to remove but Color Trend eyeliners are not soft the tip doesn't break off easily and they are not too hard so they can still be applied very easily without putting a lot of pressure.

I have never experienced any smudging with this eyeliner, it does not smudge for me if I touch my eyes or if they are watery then the colour will fade a bit otherwise it can last. The quality is amazing even though they are not waterproof they can last for a good 4 to 5 hours, after that I only need to touch up once at the inner and outer corner of my waterline. It is easy to apply on the waterline it glides on smoothly, to apply as an eyeliner it can be applied as well.

This is an eyeliner I would definilty buy again if it runs out however this lasts me a long time I have had these for about 4 years and they still work great they have not dried out all, it is a must buy if you are on a small budget for purchasing makeup. All of Color Trend makeup is good quality and affordable.

LA Girl Pro Concealer HD Review

I was in a search for a really good concealer to cover up dark circles but also wanted something affordable as soon as I searched on Google I saw LA Girl and looked at reviews and images and decided I really wanted to give it a go. The concealer is affordable it is £3 each and can last about a month.

The hardest part was to work out the correct shade it took me about an hour looking at photos and videos online to see which shade would be right for my skin tone. in the end I just decided to purchase two one that would be kind of light which is natural and one which will be a little dark which will match the colour of my dark circles which was almond. I used the almond colour as a colour corrector and the natural colour as a concealer.

For the price I am impressed with this concealer it does cover really well than other concealers I have tried, it is lightweight and provides a natural finishing look. It provides super coverage you can use your fingers, concealer brush or a blender to blend the product out. For people who have got dark circles that are really dark it would be something average for them and someone who has got light to moderate dark circles I think this would be perfect as it will cover up perfectly.

I have dark circles that are really dark so I was kind of impressed with this because it was better than other drugstore concealers I have tried, even though it doesn't completely cover you can see the shadow slightly from underneath it does make a huge difference and I preferred applying this with a concealer brush rather than a blender because I felt the blender would wipe away most of the product.

This product reminds of the Sleek concealer and corrector palette as they also have a corrector colour to apply then concealer on top and this is what I do with the LA Girl concealers, but the texture is different, sleek is a thick cream texture and this is a liquid texture concealer so you can blend out the product well and have more control with it.

Overall, I think I will buy this product again but next time a different colour because I still don't feel completely happy with the colours I purchased, natural is too light and almond is too orange for me so I will probably need to trial and error again with another colour until I find the correct one. Next time I think I will go for creamy beige which will hopefully be right.

Elf Flawless Eyeshadow Party Purple Quad Review

There was a sale at elf and one item that really caught my eye was this eyeshadow quad, elf has a lot of colours available in this flawless eyeshadow range, but I chose to go with party purple because I thought this quad would give my eyes that pop of colour. I got this for a bargain of £1.20 it was really affordable to buy. This is the first eyeshadow product I have tried from elf and I am really impressed with this for the price and quality it is great.

It has got each eyeshadow marked with where it can be placed to create a purple party look although you do not have to apply the eyeshadow to them certain places you can create your own look. For me, this little quad is really pigmented even if I use really less eyeshadow it does a great job, but for it to last all day primer would probably be needed.

The base colour is a soft pink almost like a pearl white, the lid colour is a dark pink, the crease colour is violet and the line colour is a dark aubergine purple. I think the colour variations are really good they work out good together you can achieve different kinds of looks with these using one to four colours.

The eyeshadows look shimmery but it is not, they look matte when they are swatched but they are shiny they do not leave any shimmer they are made from a silky and smooth formula which I love and it gives you the perfect eyeshadow look. I love all the colours they are long lasting as well you can apply with the applicator, a brush or your fingertips, but I prefer to use these delicate eyeshadows with the applicator as a sponge applicator can apply more smoothly.

The crease colour is the only colour which will actually make your eyes pop the other three don't really have a popping out colour but are still good to use. You can mix and match colours from other eyeshadow palettes I will definitely be using the dark purple as an outer corner colour. For makeup lovers and beginners I think this is a must have, it is also bag and travel-friendly it is small and compact.

Itsjudytime + Pixibeauty Lip Palette

This review is about the lip palette which was made by Judy a youtube vlogger with the beauty brand Pixi beauty, I am very keen about Judy as a beauty enthusiast and really wanted to try this product out. I have been reading online reviews about the lip palette and some people are saying the lip colours are too dry that is probably because they are demi-matte if they was creamy they would have been easily applied to the lips and not dry. I like how it also came with a detached mirror I know Judy has to have a mirror with a palette it is definitely essential.

The palette claims from the Pixi beauty website that it has creamy lip colours but I don't really think they are creamy because they are actually demi-matte, and I know Judy loves matte lipsticks so this had to be something she wanted to make. If you are living somewhere cold they are going to be even harder to apply this may be because the matter lipsticks are formed into a palette whereas if they was in a lipstick case this may have not been the case, a tip which also Judy gave was that when the palette is warm the colours actually apply on more creamy so you could give it heat with a hairdryer for a few seconds. I swirl my finger around a few times in the colour and find this helps.

For me, the nude and brown shades don't appear how I would like them to on my lips because I naturally have dark lips but they are alright as everyday neutral colours. My favourite colours from the palette are falling leaves and chewy.

Another thing is that on my dry lips when I apply these lip colours you can clearly see my dry lips I wish the palette wasn't too matte but more creamy like the Collection lipsticks they are long lasting and creamy that is the perfect consistency, and I prefer lipsticks like that.

Overall for me I don't think this palette really met my expectations I bought this on offer for £20 and I don't think it's worth it for me personally, but may be better for others, if the consistency of the lip colours were more pigmented and less matte and maybe if they was made into a lipstick rather a lip palette it may have held and worked more better and they would of applied much better on me.

Miss Sporty Wonder Smooth Lipstick Review

This was the first time for me trying out Miss Sporty lipsticks and makeup in general, the brand is known to be a drugstore and affordable brand. I purchased two lipsticks from their wonder smooth collection heroic copper 500 and wonder fuchsia 203.

Applying too much of the wonder fuchsia lipstick made my lips look bright pink which is something I don't like I prefer a suttle and dark pink, I tried applying with a lip brush and using less of the product and it looked quite better and was more wearable for me, as they say, a little goes a long way.

The lipstick heroic copper is beautiful and a perfect colour for fall it is almost like brown and peach mixed together which looked really nice. If you have lighter colour lips you may find that this is a much better of a browner shade, but darker lips it will be more of a peachy brown. Both lipsticks have a sweet berry smell which is positive thing about this product. Packaging is good matches the colour of the lipstick and has a clear plastic lid.

Overall I was really happy with the heroic copper lipstick I love it as a everyday lipstick, the fuchsia lipstick is not for me as I don't like bright pink colours. You can purchase this lipstick from Superdrug. Miss Sporty is a cool trendy and fun brand it is especially for makeup beginners and experimenters. Their makeup is affordable but also to good quality.

Collection Lasting Colour Lipstick Review

I am reviewing this drugstore lipstick which is from Collection Cosmetics, I purchased this from Superdrug, it is a very affordable lipstick it retails for £2.99 and it has other colours available from red to pink and bright to dark in Collection's lasting colour lipstick range.

The colour of the lipstick is very true to its description, it applies as the colour it is shown as. The colour is very beautiful, it is a dark medium brown colour, a perfect colour to wear any day.

The lipstick itself has a soft smooth formula and it is very moisturising and creamy love how it feels on the lips, it does not smudge at all and it is very pigmented, it's not a matte lipstick but still I feel it is very long lasting than other lipsticks, if you are going to eat or drink something it will start to come off and will transfer, but it can last on your lips for a couple of hours. After application, the lipstick does not feel drying at all after and I love the finishing result of the lipstick, perfect as a fall lipstick.

The packaging is pretty neat as well, it has the colour black and silver, it's not overly designed it's simple packaging and very convenient. It has the name and colour of the lipstick at the moment so you know exactly which colour it is. Also, it has a very sweet scent to it which is not bothering at all.

I think for the price it is a very good lipstick. I will definitely be purchasing this lipstick again in the future and in different colours. Overall, I do recommend you purchase this product because it's affordable and also I think it's a great quality lipstick and there are a lot of shades you can choose from. Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil Review

I am actually not a brow person, because my eyebrows are naturally very dark so I don't normally do them, but they do need filling as they are uneven, but this is a product I really wanted to try and I loved trying out this brow product, this is probably my first ever brow product. Normally, if I want to fill my eyebrows I will use a black eyeliner or a angled brush and some black eyeshadow.

The new benefit product claims to be 12-hour waterproof, I tested out the product for about 6 hours and it still looked pretty alright, so it could probably last 12 hours only with the benefit brow gel which makes it budge-proof. I would say it can smudge a bit if touched or washing your face.

There are six colours available from 1 being the lightest and 6 the darkest, I am reviewing the darkest colour which is number 6 deep. When I first swatched this on my hand it was quite hard for me to get the colour, so I had to try harder but didn't want to break the small diamond tip. As soon as you get it working the colour then easily comes out.

Packaging

I do have to say when I first open the product from its packaging the product made me say wow, the packaging for the brow pencil is beautiful, I love the jewelled shape lid of the pencil. the pencil itself is a twist pencil, so you twist it for the product to come up to how much you want it to, which is great because that means no sharpening.

Product

This product is a sample product, so this is not the full sized product, the full sized product comes with a spooly which is an eyebrow comb on the opposite side, so you can apply with the pencil and then brush with the spooly comb, as this does not have the spooly comb I used my own separate one. The product itself does go on quite lightly, therefore you would not have to worry about putting too much on. The custom goof proof tip on the brow pencil is actually helpful, it allows you to have more precision when filling your eyebrows.

When I was actually filling in my eyebrows with this product it, I actually noticed the wax pencil of the product was actually coming off as little circle bits, making some areas of it look dark and some light. That was because I was trying too hard with it, so I suggest you go lightly with it as it will work better if you apply firmly. Other than that, I think this is a good product eyebrow product and can help you achieve the eyebrow look you want.

Overall, the product does help to fill your eyebrows and gives them a bolder look. For a full price of £18.50 I would probably not buy this, but I would recommend you try out the sample size of this product if you are able to.

Avon Extra Lasting & Natural Inkane Red Lipstick Review & Comparison

In this review I will be reviewing and comparing two drugstore lipsticks that are affordable to purchase and which are from two different brands, but are similar in colour.

The first lipstick is Avon Extra Lasting Lipstick in the colour Ravishing Rose, this lipstick is from the brand Avon, there are other colours available in pink, brown and red. This lipstick includes SPF15 and claims to last up to 8 hours even though it is not matte. You can purchase this from Avon online or if you have Avon brochures.

The second lipstick is Natural Inkane Lipstick in the colour 616, this is a lipstick not made in the UK it is an Asian lipstick, unfortunately I just checked and the website currently do not sell this lipstick anymore, instead it has been replaced with others.

Price- The Avon lipstick I purchased when it was on offer for £4.00, however Avon do keep on changing prices up and down so the price for this lipstick is not a fixed price. The Inkane Lipstick I purchased for nearly half of the Avon lipstick price which was £2.10.

Scent- The Inkane Lipstick surprisingly does not have a scent to it at all when applied on the lips it does not smell of anything. The Avon lipstick when smelt smells very sweet somewhat like sweet raspberries, when applying the lipstick on the lips you can smell it, but I like the smell it smells sweet.

Quality-   The Avon lipstick is an extra lasting lipstick as it claims to be, it can last more longer than the other lipstick but I would say it does not last 8 hours as it does smudge off when you eat or drink something and does transfer, and it feels very moisturising when applied. However, the Inkane lipstick has glitter in the formula, so when applied glitter will also appear and can sometimes smudge to other parts of the face which is something I do not like about it, but they do have other lipsticks too in that collection which do not include glitter, for example the colour 607 is a neutral colour.

Packaging- The packaging for the Inkane lipstick I think looks beautiful with the silver gems stuck on the packaging makes it look really appealing. The packaging for the Avon lipstick is pretty simple it is red and has extra lasting written on the lid of the lipstick.

The finishing look for the Inkane Lipstick looks lovely it gives me a glossy shiny look on the lips, and the Avon lipstick really gives my lips the red colour and it feels very soft on the lips. Both lipsticks are pretty enough the same colour the only difference is that the Avon lipstick is more pigmented in colour and when applied on the lips it actually looks more of a lighter red than the actual lipstick colour, the Inkane lipstick has more glitter to it whereas the Avon lipstick does not at all.

Overall, I enjoyed using these lipsticks and will recommend them when looking to purchase affordable lipsticks.

Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner Review

My review on the Collection Fast Stroke Eyeliner in the colour Black 1. This is a liquid eyeliner from the brand Collection cosmetics apart from this colour you can get other colours including brown, blue and waterproof black.  This eyeliner retails at a price of £2.99.

The formula of the product is great once applied it will not crack and it will give you a good eyeliner look. The colour of the eyeliner is precise its a bold black and it is very pigmented, when applied it dries instantly and can last the whole day if not touched.

What I liked about this eyeliner:

-It does not smudge, flake or dissolve

-Gives a good finishing result

-Affordable price

What I disliked about this eyeliner:

-This eyeliner is so good that if you are going to wear this often you are probably going to find yourself purchasing this often because it is quite small, it is 3.5 ml.

-It can sometimes drag the eyeliner when applying this is because the formula of it is watery, so you have to be steady with it and gentle when applying.

-Another thing is that packaging of the eyeliner

You can see in the image the tip of the eyeliner isn't quite thin, it is medium sized and the tip of the wand is soft, it is good for when you are trying to make the winged look. Another thing is that the packaging of the eyeliner is small and efficient, but that does mean that some of the product will be left inside which you won't be able to get out with the wand.

Overall, I love this product because of the finishing results it dries matte, and it gives my eyes the perfect look. Therefore I would score this product 4 out of 5 and will definitely repurchase this product in the future because it's cheap and totally worth it. Makeup Tips Foundation and Concealer

This is a step to step guide on how to apply foundation and concealer, these tips will hopefully make you more knowledgeable on how to apply foundation and concealer, which are the first steps when applying makeup. It will also be easy for makeup beginners to follow and learn these tips and tricks to apply their foundation and concealer correctly and perfectly.

Preparing the skin

Before applying makeup the most important thing is to make sure your face is clean and fresh and your hands because you may use your hands to apply as well, so start off by washing and cleansing your face, to remove any dirt or old makeup. You can do this with water and facial wash or with a makeup remover.

You can test the foundation on your neck/jawline and face to see which one closely matches your skin colour. It's also important to blend the foundation to see if it truly matches.

Choosing the type of coverage is also important so you can achieve the end result you are wanting, the options are sheer, medium or full. If you want a natural look you would probably want to use a sheer foundation which looks natural on your face and gives less coverage, if you want a medium look this will be kind average coverage and for a full face coverage would mean a full foundation face.

Lastly, the type of finish you want, a matte finish is suited for oily skin type because it hides the oily skin, dewy finish is suited for dry skin type because that type of foundation gives your face a glow, and a satin finish can be suited for nearly all skin types. There is also compact powder which is a powder foundation, which is normally used to give the foundation a setting.

Foundation is totally optional if you only want to cover some areas on your face you can do that only using a concealer and using it on the areas that need it like, around your nose, under your eyes and on the chin.

Applying Foundation

When applying foundation you need to make sure you are using the correct equipment to apply which suits you. There are different ways you can apply foundation this includes fingertips, stippling brushes, flat brushes, beauty blender and sponges.  You can use one of these methods or you can use more than one it's totally up to you.

Some prefer applying concealer first and then foundation, whereas some  prefer foundation first and then concealer, to find out the best way for you is to simply trial and error to see which method is most successful for you. Apply gently to the areas you want to apply the foundation on, if you think you need more you can always add another layer of foundation but one or two layers should be enough.

If you need to hide any blemishes, dark spots or circles, you can do that by using a concealer again use a concealer that matches your skin colour perfectly, but also the one that has full coverage, apply it to the areas where the discolouration is, you can use a concealer brush or your fingertips to apply this.

Setting powder/compact powder can be used to set the foundation and concealer, as well as, setting sprays can also be used after when you have finished with applying your makeup, hold the spray a small distance from your face and lightly mist the face.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara Review

My review on the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. I have the travel size perversion mascara, it comes in two sizes, you can purchase the travel size mascara as well and that's exactly what I did to try out this product. I naturally have black long eyelashes, so what I wanted from this mascara is to give my eyelashes some volume.

Well this mascara does exactly what it says the tagline to it is bigger, blacker and badder mascara, and it definitely is when you apply the first coat you can see it is super creamy, it is more blacker on your eyelashes and does give it an extra boost. At the start the mascara is very wet, but it gradually dries on and I do have to say it is not that clumpy as well, but you can stop it from being clumpy if you apply it slowly and apply less.

If you are looking for volume then this may be the type of mascara you are looking for and if you want to try this product out, it's best to go for the travel size first and then if you like it consider the full size.

I really like this mascara for the reasons because when applied and left to dry it actually holds your eyelashes in place, so they are not all over the place. It does make your eye look lifted and it gives a slight curl to your eyelashes and it's actually not that clumpy looking with only one coat, but if you put more than one coat it will look a bit more clumpy because the mascara wand has a lot of product in it. However, the mascara does feel very creamy on the eyelashes and do not make my eyelashes feel they are stuck together in other words dry or crinkly like some mascaras do.

The brush of the mascara is very dense and full of the actual mascara product, it is a bristle brush which is a good thing if you are wanting to have the volume of eyelashes to be more blacker, but the negative side to it can be that it will cause the mascara to clump onto your eyelashes and a couple of eyelashes can get pushed together, so you have to be careful when applying. I would just probably wear this mascara with only one or two coats because it is so dense you can actually see the result in one or two coats. I do have to say it does have a bit of a strong smell to it but you can't actually smell that when you apply it on.

Overall, I really liked this mascara and would consider buying it again in the future as it's kind of perfect in every way, no flakiness or a lot of clumps. The feel of it on your eyelashes is natural and it gives an extra boost. Therefore I would score it a great 4 out of 5.

Sleek Makeup Corrector & Concealer Palette 04 Review

My review on the Sleek Corrector and Concealer Palette 04 with SPF15 setting powder.
This product is designed to cover up your dark circles underneath your eyes and neutralise any discoloration, along with covering up any unwanted marks or acne. This palette also includes SPF15 powder this helps the product stay more longer on your skin long lasting wear and sets the concealer, but also protects from harmful UVA rays.

From left to right, first you apply the concealer which is creamy, secondly you apply the corrector over the concealer which is also creamy and lastly you apply the setting powder on top, this is the recommended way to apply the product. You can also mix the concealer and corrector together to get a perfect match for your skin.

I am using the palette 04 which is for medium skin tone, they have 5 palettes, 1 being the lightest and 5 being the darkest palette they offer. I have very dark circles underneath my eyes, so it was a challenge to see whether this product will actually cover and conceal the dark circles. However, it did do the job of covering up most of the dark circles but did not fully cover them up with super heavy coverage, because it is more of a light-medium coverage. The actual concealer and corrector are not fully pigmented when trying to apply with finger or with a concealer brush it does not fully cover because the product is lightweight. 

The packaging is very professional and strong, and it is well designed it comes with a mirror, you can apply this product by either using your fingers or use a light brush to get most product onto your skin.

If you are unhappy, using the concealer with the sleek palette, you can always use your own preferred concealer and then go ahead and apply the corrector and powder for your personal preference.

Overall, I kind of liked this product, because so far this palette did the best job in covering my dark circles only slightly, so I would score it 3.5 out of 5. I would recommend this palette to someone who has light to medium dark circles, as this product may work better for them.

Maybelline Color Sensational Copper Brown 775

My review for the Maybelline Color Sensational Copper Brown 775.

Maybelline color sensational has a wide range of colours you can choose from, I decided to get a brown colour. This copper brown colour is a shimmery colour when applied, it's the colour of copper and brown mixed together, therefore, a medium brown.

When I apply the lipstick on the lips at the start it feels very smooth and pleasant, and love that it gives my lips that sense of glow, after a while it feels like I have nothing on my lips, it sets on my lips very fast and feels lightweight. It has a very nice smell to it different from other lipsticks, if anyone has ever tried the candy crush blue candy perfume it smells exactly like that, alternatively, like a vanilla fruity scent.

The packaging is professional looking and unique in a rectangular frame with a silver metallic base.

What I liked:

-good colour and consistency 

-applies smoothly

-good pigmentation

There is nothing I disliked about this product, I just found the colour to be lighter for me I wanted something more darker, as my lips are not too light and not too dark either. Also, if you don't like smells in your lipstick then you might not like the fragrance, but this isn't a problem for me because I like the smell.

If you are going to eat and drink then the lipstick will come off a bit, although I would say it can last for 3 to 4 hours on. On darker lips it will be like a nude brown lipstick, so if you want a more darker colour I would probably recommend Maybelline color sensational in the colour untainted spice, and copper brown on lighter lips will look more pigmented.

Overall, I would score this product 4 out of 5 because as a lipstick itself it is very nice, the colour is also nice to wear as an everyday colour, and it is affordable as a drug store lipstick. This is a colour which is rare to find now but I purchased this from Amazon.
